Led a multi-discipline team of six on a data conversion project migrating from Twins (Wang VS) to Twins2000 (Unix) insurance broking accounts packages. Developed a Foxpro interface between the two packages. Extensive contact with software supplier (Trace ISYS Limited).
Following a six-way merger, extensive involvement in conversion from Twins to an IBM mainframe system.
Implemented a data archiving and retrieval package (Viewpoint Retriever) under NT for Aon legacy policy systems, developing various Access support databases to assist data validation. Designed Retriever databases for input of legacy accounts ledgers to Retriever.
Performed Retriever System Administrator role, leading a team of three.
Extensive liaison with Retriever vendor (Image Systems Integrators Limited) including training.
Project controlled using MS Project under Prince 2.
